Mr. Schoenberg is Of Counsel to the firm. He has substantial experience in both the Federal and State Courts, as well as before various arbitration and mediation forums, representing and counseling individuals and companies across many industries on a variety of complex commercial litigation issues, including shareholder/member disputes, dissolutions, business torts, trade secret misappropriation and unfair competition disputes, real estate disputes, and employment discrimination. In 2015, Mr. Schoenberg was named as a Nassau County Bar Association Access to Justice Champion for his pro bono work; he serves on the Board of Trustees of the Long Island Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America and the Governing Board of L.I. against Domestic Violence. He received his J.D. degree from Hofstra University School of Law, Magna Cum Laude, where he was an editor of the Hofstra Law Review.
Ross J. Kartez is an Associate with the firm. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, primarily representing clients in matters involving real estate, securities, shareholder and partnership agreements, business torts, employment disputes, alternative dispute resolution, insurance coverage, and various breach of contract disputes. He has represented clients in Federal Court, State Court, FINRA Arbitration and AAA Arbitration, and in all aspects of negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Mr. Kartez is a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section, Commercial and Federal Litigation Section, and International Section. He received his J.D. degree from St. John’s University School of Law.
